Until 1998, Marinko Rodic was a car mechanic by trade, then changed course and became one of the top producers of natural wine in Istria. Malvasia is considered a 'workhorse' grape, hence the cuvee 'Malvadiesel'. This green-hued wine only sees 3 days of skin contact, spending 6 months in large neutral acacia barrels and then stainless steel tanks before being bottled unfiltered. Drinking more like a textured aromatic white wine, expressing white flowers, white peaches, lemon verbena, lime leaf, vermouth herbaciousness, and saline. Built for Southeast Asian cuisine.
