Rebholz
With a winemaking legacy stretching back over 300 years, Weingut Ökonomierat Rebholz stands as one of the great names in German wine. Located in the limestone-rich South Pfalz, the Rebholz family has long championed a philosophy of “natural wine,” first envisioned by Hansjörg Rebholz’s grandfather Eduard. A trained scientist, Eduard laid the foundation for the estate’s now-iconic style by rejecting artificial sweetness and crafting wines that express site, soil, and vintage with clarity and precision. Today, Hansjörg continues this legacy with his twin sons, Hans and Valentin, who bring fresh energy and global winemaking experience to the family’s 60 acres of certified biodynamic vineyards.

The Spätburgunder Rosé offers a completely different expression: a dry and spicy rosé aged in amphora, with light, dusty black cherry fruit and an earthy, layered finish. This is a rosé of uncommon depth and grip—more contemplative than casual, and a serious look at Pinot Noir through the Rebholz lens.
