Meet the Winemaker: Domaine Casademont | 4 wines | $21

WEDNESDAY JUNE 3RD
6-8PM PST

For winemaker Adrien Rodriguez, launching Domaine Casademont was a chance to reconnect with the legacy of the great-grandfather he never met but grew up hearing about. Raoul Casademont was known in his village for his generosity, his flair, and his deep connection to the land — a grower whose vines shaped family life for decades. When Adrien and his wife, Kelsey, learned that Raoul’s former vineyard had come back on the market, the moment aligned naturally with Adrien’s longtime goal of making wine in his home region of Languedoc-Roussillon. Reacquiring the site allowed him to honor that history while building something distinctly his own.

Adrien trained in viticulture and oenology in Carcassonne and worked across Bordeaux, Provence, and the Languedoc before spending several years abroad in London, Montreal, and here in California. Those experiences broadened his perspective and helped refine a winemaking approach centered on clarity, organic farming, and minimal-intervention methods. In the summer of 2024, with friends and family alongside him, he harvested the vineyard and produced the domaine’s first vintage.

Today, Domaine Casademont continues to focus on gentle handling to preserve texture and varietal character. The lineup at Stanley’s includes: ‘Got de Blanc’, a bright, fresh white with citrus blossom, melon, and a faint saline edge — crisp, textural, and effortlessly refreshing; ‘Got de Vi’, a juicy Grenache-Syrah blend with black-and-blue fruit, a touch of spice, and enough acidity to keep everything vivid and energetic; ‘Florange', a lightly macerated wine that falls between rosé and orange wine, offering florals, wild herbs, watermelon rind, and blood orange; and ‘Glounache’, Marselan fermented on Grenache skins, delivering red-cherry and cranberry fruit, white pepper, warm herbs, and playful acidity supported by fine tannin.

Please join us on Wednesday, June 3rd, as we welcome Adrien to Stanley's for a tasting of these 4 wines! Stop by any time between 6-8pm to chat and go through the lineup. See you there!
