STANLEY’S WINE CLASS

THE NEW CALIFORNIA

WEDNESDAY APRIL 30TH
6-7PM PST

If your notions about California wine are largely limited to Cabs, Pinot Noir, and oaky Chardonnay, this class will expose you to an entirely new and exciting vein of California wine. Winemakers in California are embracing a combination of a return to traditional farming and winemaking that favors natural and non-interventionist techniques, with bold and unconventional grape varietals and blends that can push the edge of what people’s conceptions of wine even are. Join us for this class where we’ll both taste through six wines that showcase the most exciting trends in California wine from top stars of the scene, and learn about how and why these wines are so different from your everyday Cabernet.

*Please note $10 of the class fee is a service charge that goes directly to the staff supporting the event. Admission includes tastes of six wines, instructional materials, snacks, and the $10 service charge.
