Vini Viti Vinci is the brainchild of Nicolas Vauthier, a natural wine pioneer with roots in Paris’s iconic wine bar scene and a deep love for Burgundy’s lesser-known terroirs. Based in the sleepy town of Avallon, this tiny but mighty winery has been shaking up the northern Burgundy landscape since 2009 with wines that are as expressive and unfiltered as the winemaker himself.
Working with organically farmed vineyards across appellations like Chitry, Côtes d'Auxerre, and Bourgogne Aligoté, Vauthier lets the grapes and the vintage lead the way. Native ferments, little to no sulfur, and hands-off cellar work are the rule, not the exception. The result? Wines that hum with energy, balance funk with finesse, and taste unmistakably alive.
From the punchy labels to the juicy, joy-filled bottles, Vini Viti Vinci wines don’t take themselves too seriously—but they’re seriously good. Whether it’s a fresh and zippy Sauvignon Blanc or a gluggable, slightly wild Pinot, these wines guarantee a good time.
