This Estate Grown Petite Sirah has jammy black berry, plum blossoms, sage, and star anise on the nose. Wild blueberry, in a brown butter, baking spice pie crust on the palate. Zippy acidity and soft, subtle tannin make for a deliciously refreshing Petite Sirah. Complex straight out of the bottle, but almost becomes downright juicy with a bit of decanting. Amazing to drink now, but with great aging potential. Full bodied enough for a hearty summer barbecue, but not too heavy for the heat!
