On the palate

How you spot it blind: pale red color, bright cherry and herb notes, and crisp acidity

The story

A rare Achaia red that survived in small mountain vineyards and was brought back into production in recent years. Regional sources note it had become almost forgotten before local wineries began bottling it again, including a monovarietal release reported from 2005.
