Domaine Casademont
For winemaker Adrien Rodriguez, launching Domaine Casademont was a chance to reconnect with the legacy of the great-grandfather he never met but grew up hearing about. Raoul Casademont was known in his village for his generosity, his flair, and his deep connection to the land — a grower whose vines shaped family life for decades. When Adrien and his wife, Kelsey, learned that Raoul’s former vineyard had come back on the market, the moment aligned naturally with Adrien’s longtime goal of making wine in his home region of Languedoc-Roussillon. Reacquiring the site allowed him to honor that history while building something distinctly his own.
Adrien trained in viticulture and oenology in Carcassonne and worked across Bordeaux, Provence, and the Languedoc before spending several years abroad in London, Montreal, and California. Those experiences broadened his perspective and helped refine a winemaking approach centered on clarity, organic farming, and minimal-intervention methods. In the summer of 2024, with friends and family alongside him, he harvested the vineyard and produced the domaine’s first vintage.
