Far Field Beer Co

Far Field Beer Co. officially opened in 2021 in Lawndale, California, after founders and husband-and-wife duo James and Regan Bardeen spent years dreaming, planning, and refining their vision for the brewery. James, who honed his skills overseeing a barrel program in Wisconsin, teamed up with longtime fellow homebrewer Bryce Lowrance (now Head Brewer and COO), a hop enthusiast with a talent for crafting balanced, drinkable ales. Their partnership grew out of countless homebrewing sessions and a shared curiosity about flavor, technique, and collaboration.

Today, the team focuses on precision and balance across a wide range of styles—from easy-drinking lagers and West Coast–leaning IPAs to experimental Berliner Weisses and barrel-aged projects—each reflecting James’s structural approach and Bryce’s inventive spirit. Deliberate and thoughtful in their choices, Far Field has carved out a distinct place in a crowded craft beer scene, producing beers that reward attention and spark conversation—exactly the kind of thing we love to share!
