Les Champs Délicieux
2024 Domaine Les Champs Délicieux ‘Frit Confit' 750mL
Smoked herb and rhubarb lead, then savory herbs and black olive frame bright black cherry. It stays light and lean from first pour to last. The body is on the lighter side, tannins are gentle, and a fresh snap runs through the finish, making each sip dry, savory and easy to reach for again.
Alexandre Dalet farms organically in the southern Luberon and hand harvests Grenache and Syrah for this cuvée. He ferments with native yeast, skips fining and filtration, and adds only a tiny touch of sulfur before bottling so the fruit stays clear and the savory edge stays vivid. The result is a southern French red that chooses brightness over bulk and brings flavor without weight.

Les Champs Délicieux
Dalet set up the domaine in the mid 2010s after earlier work and friendships in the Roussillon natural wine scene, notably around Loïc Roure of Domaine du Possible and Edouard Laffitte of Domaine du Bout du Monde. Plantings include Grenache, Syrah and regional whites, and the focus is on expressive, drinkable wines that reflect the Luberon’s sun and mistral while keeping freshness.
