Stretching from the Santa Cruz Mountains down through Paso Robles and into Santa Barbara County, the Central Coast is one of California's most diverse wine regions, shaped by a geography that swings wildly between warm inland valleys and cool ocean-influenced hillsides. That range of conditions has attracted a generation of small, organically-minded growers who are producing some of the most exciting and undervalued wines in the state.
