Article: Vermut Luis Adolfo y Lorenzo

Vermut Luis Adolfo y Lorenzo
Vermut Luis Adolfo y Lorenzo was born from the kind of idea that only comes after countless late-night talks between friends. Rafa Martín, the force behind Palma’s Brassclub, had been toying with the thought of creating his own vermouth alongside two close friends — Luis Adolfo, a wine and vermouth obsessive, and Lorenzo, a devoted cocktail enthusiast. What started as bar chatter turned into a serious project, and in 2023, after two years of fine-tuning, they finally bottled the first edition.
The name Luis Adolfo y Lorenzo isn’t just a nod to those friends — it also honors Rafa’s father and father-in-law, both of whom shared his love for conversation, hospitality, and good drink. It’s a vermouth that carries that same energy — personal, a bit nostalgic, but made for the present day. Crafted from Mallorca’s native Malvasía grapes, the wine macerates for months with a mix of Mediterranean and classic botanicals: wormwood, lemon verbena, rosemary, grapefruit, and clove among them.
The result is a dark, expressive vermut rosso that’s elegant yet easygoing — aromas of orange peel and raisin, a touch of sweetness up front, and a clean, dry, gently bitter finish. Enjoy it cold straight from the fridge or in a cocktail — now available in the shop!
