Cab drinkers - this one's for you! An incredible value in this Cabernet-esque wine from Portugal. Foot-trodden and pressed in a wood basket press, this Alentejo blend uses traditional methods but feels modern and bold.
It showcases juicy red and black berries with violets, white pepper, and an earthy edge, finishing with a minty, menthol lift and plenty of spice. A great weeknight pour, but especially great with beef dishes, grilled meats, or boldly flavored pizza.

- Hand harvested into 20 kg boxes. Partially destemmed, then foot trodden in open-top tanks. Three days of cold soak. Fermented in stainless steel at 75-79°F. Pressed in a vertical hydraulic press with wood baskets. Around 15 percent of the blend aged 12 months in new Portuguese oak barrels. Yeast not stated.
