100% Aglianico grown in volcanic soils. Unusually zippy and fresh for this varietal but with a fair amount of powerful dark cherry fruit behind it. Intentionally held for a few years before bottling to enhance its savory and mineral driven characteristics, lightly smokey and elegant, built for lamb and bbq.
