Champagne Minière F & R
NV Minière F&R 'Influence' Champagne Brut 750mL
From the only grower Champagne from Hermonville, a small village north of Reims, the family farms the vines and makes the wine themselves. Brothers Frédéric and Rodolphe Minière lead the work here, with the former’s time with Anselme Selosse pointing them to ferment and age their base wines in oak. A meunier‑led blend from three named vineyard sites, it gains texture from time on the lees, the spent yeast that adds richness, but stays dry thanks to a light 3 g/L dosage, so the detail of the place drives the taste.
In the glass, this shows freshness and a stony cut, opening on citrus with ripe yellow fruit, and a touch of toasted wood. The bead is fine and elegant, the palate structured with real tension, and the finish long on warm toast and ripe yellow fruit. Precise, persistent, and deeply satisfying.

Champagne Minière F & R
Frédéric and Rodolphe Minière took over in 2005 after oenology studies and time working in other cellars. Frédéric spent two harvests in the late 1990s with Anselme Selosse, which pushed the brothers toward fermenting and aging all their base wines in oak and toward a careful, vineyard first approach. They began bottling under their own name, with their first releases in the 2010s.
Today the estate farms nearly 8 acres in Hermonville on south to southeast slopes, working with organic soil amendments and cover crops, relying on native yeast in barrel, aging the non vintage wines several years in the cellar before release, and bottling without filtration to preserve texture and character.
