RG|MX (Rivero González)
RG|MX (Rivero González) is a family-owned winery located in Valle de Parras, Coahuila, the oldest wine region in the America’s, and a high-altitude desert oasis where vines thrive at 5,000 feet above sea level. Founded in 1998, the estate spans 135 acres of organically farmed vineyards, cultivated without herbicides or synthetic chemicals. RG|MX is a fully estate-driven winery, using native yeasts, practicing circular agriculture, and planting each vineyard block according to soil type and microclimate.
At the heart of RG|MX’s identity is a deep commitment to sustainability, quality, and community. Vineyard and pecan waste is composted to enrich the soil, and biodiversity is nurtured through low-intervention farming. Their philosophy values not only the land but the people who care for it daily, honoring the labor and legacy behind every bottle.Leading the next-generation is María Rivero González, CEO and second-generation steward of the family estate. María is part of a dynamic team of women shaping the future of Mexican wine with transparency, empathy, and vision. She works closely with Matías Utrero, an Argentine winemaker with over 20 vintages, who champions low-intervention techniques.
